Frequently Asked Questions
How many plants are in PvZ Fusion?
PvZ Fusion starts with 45 base plants (35 classic Adventure plants and 10 branch plants). With fusions, special, Odyssey, Demon and Tower Defense plants, the in-game Almanac has more than 700 entries, and 516 of them have a fusion recipe.
What are the best plants in PvZ Fusion?
It depends on the mode. In normal levels, fusions usually beat base plants because they combine both ingredients’ abilities. The strongest plants, the Ultimate and Legendary Odyssey plants, only work in Odyssey modes.
How do I unlock plants in PvZ Fusion?
Base plants unlock as you play Adventure mode, as in the original game. Branch plants unlock after level 45 and Adventure: Extra. Special plants come from minigames and challenges, and Advanced fusions need their Fusion Challenge to be beaten first.
What is Jicamagic?
Jicamagic is a special plant that triggers Titan fusions. Place three plants in the right pattern, then plant Jicamagic on the middle one.
Are these the official English plant names?
No. PvZ Fusion is in Chinese only. These names come from the community English translation (Teyliu PVZF-Translation). The PvZ: Fusion Wiki sometimes uses a different name, for example “Aqua Aloe” for Aloe Aqua.
